Cherry Maple Yogurt

Back to the grind! I'm trying not to let the fact that it's only Monday morning get to me....

When I start to feel depressed about the upcoming work week, I try to find something midweek to look forward to, such as a wine date with a friend, a favorite television show, etc. This week, I am looking forward to tomorrow night. Kris and I recieved a gift certificate to a nice restaurant in the Twin Cities area for an engagement present from a friend. So we're going to have an Election Day Date and go celebrate!

Do you guys have any tips for how you get through the long week?

Today is a yoga day, which means I normally try to eat a smaller snack-like breakfast. Today I made Cherry Maple Yogurt. I used one cup of Fage mixed with a few tablespoons of sugar free maple syrup and about a 1/2 cup of microwaved frozen cherries. Secret ingredient: a tablespoon of apple butter!

I topped the yogurt with a sprinkle of cereal for some crunch.

Alright..... off we go on another Monday! (Stay positive, stay positive, stay positive, stay positive...)
