Oh What a Day...

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

Ok, not the best Hump Day ever. Work was stressful. Problem Child has turned into Demon Child. I know it sounds crazy, but I honestly think this kid is possessed. He's not the normal, temper-tantrum-throwing, "I'm-the-only-one-who-matters-in-this-world" 5-year old. People do exist inside his bubble, and he's out to get them. Once again, it sounds crazy. I wish I could honestly show you what it's like. I got off work, got in my car and cried the whole way home. I was finally able to let out all the anger and stress I've been holding in all day. It felt good.

Ok, enough negativity. GOOD EATS today.

Breakfast
Egg Beater Omelet with grape tomatoes, onions, turkey and mozzarrella.

Pippi tried to get some of it.

Lunch
"Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo" made with fettucine-shaped Tofu Shirataki noodles, 1/4 cup alfredo sauce, shrimp, okra, turkey bacon, tomatoes and parsley. YUM.

I also had a pear with my lunch (not pictured).

Dinner
Turkey Club Bagel Sammie

Veggies & Hummus on the side. Good and FILLING.

Ok I am tirrrrrrred. I'm going to sleep. Just like these guys!

Wow- they already look like they're getting bigger- so cute! All your meals look great! I especially am loving that breakfast! Sorry you have a demon child! My sister had one of those last year in her class and couldn't wait to get rid of the kid!

Oh my god your cats are so in love. How cute!

I am sorry about your stressful day. I know what it's like to have one child that takes control of your thoughts! You can only do the best you can do and notify the proper people and push for him to get tested, etc. Hope it gets better.

lyss- aww honey. the point of the post is YOU CAN feel this way. ANYONE can. it just has to be a conscious choice at some point to change your thinking. it's all in your head, after all. :) you are beautiful and i know you will glow from the INSIDE OUT on your wedding day!
